As of November 2022, construction is underway and expected to be completed in March 2023, however, an exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed. This Contract includes modification and replacement of the 1st Level Reservoir appurtenances, structural repair, and electrical, telemetry, and instrumentation modifications, and other work, all to be constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications as prepared by the City's consultant, Gray & Osborne, Inc. The Work shall be substantially complete within 90 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Additionally, the Work inside of the reservoir shall be complete and the reservoir shall be returned to operation by February 28, 2023.All bids or proposals must be in writing on the form bound in the Contract Documents, sealed, and filed with the Clerk on or before the day and hour above mentioned. All bid proposals shall be in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project title noted above, and shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory contract bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Yakima.
