Renovation of a municipal facility in Price, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting bids for the construction of the following project: This project updates the hydronic systems at the Price UDOT facility. This shall include decommissioning of the existing steam heat plant and the installation of two boiler systems. The maintenance shop will be served by three owner furnished heating water boilers. The maintenance shop will have a mechanical room remodel and electrical work to support the new boiler system. Heating water piping shall tie into the existing piping. The testing building will be provided heat by a steam boiler and new boiler room attached to the existing building. New steam piping shall tie into existing steam piping serving the air handlers. Electrical work will be required to support the new boiler room. Controls shall be standalone unless additive alternates are selected. Dominion Energy shall install new distribution gas piping to new meter at the testing and maintenance buildings. All boilers are owner furnished and contractor installed.
