The Village of Northbrook is requesting proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide engineering design and related work for Final Engineering Design for the FY 23/24 Water Main Improvements Project. Anticipated Schedule: It is the intent to begin the Project immediately upon execution of a Contract with the chosen consultant and be completed by October 24, 2022. The completion dates for the respective Component Projects are as follows: PHASE 1 Contract Start Date- October 24, 2022 75% Complete Submittal - January 5, 2023 PHASE 2 Final Submittal - January 31, 2023 Obtain all Permits - January 31, 2023 Project Informational Meeting - February 7, 2023 PHASE 3 Bid Letting - February 2, 2023 Bid Opening - February 16, 2023 Proposals submitted are offers only and the decision to accept or reject is a function of quality, reliability, capability, reputation, and expertise of the Proposers. The Village reserves the right to accept the proposal that is, in its judgment, the best and most favorable to the interests of Village and to the public based on the evaluation factors in this RFP; to reject the low price proposal; to accept any item of any proposal; to reject any and all proposals; and to waive irregularities and informalities in any proposal submitted or in the request for proposal process; provided, however, the waiver of any prior defect or informality shall not be considered a waiver of any future or similar defect or informality. Proposers should not rely upon, or anticipate, such waivers in submitting their proposal. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
