As of January 16, 2024, a construction manager has been selected for this project. Construction started in September 2023 and is currently underway. The following trades are being sought for this project: Structural Steel Foundations Drawings are expected to be released by the end of January, 2024, with contrtacts expected in March 2024. This Project Specific Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Construction Management Services is issued to request qualifications from those Construction Management (CM) firms interested in providing preconstruction and construction management services for the following project: New State Psychiatric Hospital Complex The project address is in the Southeast, Michigan The new building(s) will provide approximately 100-beds for Juvenile/Children psychiatric patients and approximately 160 beds for adult psychiatric patients. Possible consolidated support spaces for both facilities on the same site for the Department of Health and Human Services ("MDHHS") This facility replaces aging and functionally obsolete facilities currently located in Northville and Westland. A 'High level of Magnitude Programming and Budget Forecast' was completed on June 2, 2021, by Integrated Design Solutions, Architecture Plus and Granger Construction Company on a high order of magnitude only, programming requirements were assumed without input from DHHS and therefore requires a full programmatic effort.
