Renovation of an office development in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development.
The Architect's estimated cost of construction for this project is approximately Three Million Dollars and Zero Cents ($3,000,000.00). Project work shall commence immediately upon the issuance of a notice to proceed (the Notice to Proceed). The Project shall reach substantial completion (Substantial Completion) on or before 243 days or 8 months from Notice to Proceed and Final completion (Final Completion) on or before 274 days or 9 months from Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages in the amount of One Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($1,200.00) per calendar day, will be applicable for each and every calendar day in completing the work after the date of Substantial Completion, in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 of the General Conditions. The selected general bidder shall comply with the applicable Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates. The BRA reserves the right to waive any and all minor informalities in the bid.
