Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Vanderhoof, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed contract requires the successful contractor to supply all equipment, materials and labor necessary to develop a 1 acre lot that VanJam Fire Zone, BC Wildfire Service, is leasing from the District of Vanderhoof into a fenced, graveled parking lot. This lot is undeveloped other than a driveway with a culvert that was recently installed along with a large gravel pad that was used to accommodate two modular office trailers that were placed temporarily until building renovations were completed. In addition to the rest of the 1 acre lot, successful contractor will need to ensure this gravel pad and driveway area adequately meet the recommendations laid out in the project specifications, geotechnical report and drawings regarding the pavement structure and considerations, subgrade preparation, drainage, temporary excavations and quality assurance. Successful contractor will also be responsible for removing previously excavated materials still onsite and disposing of them if deemed necessary. BC Wildfire Service also requires the services of a contractor to provide all the materials, labour and equipment to supply and install a chain link fence with a gate around the perimeter of the parking compound.
