No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids (except as listed in Article 16). The City of Johnson City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities in the Bids, and to determine the lowest responsible Bidder. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors in the State of Tennessee, as required by the Contractor's
Licensing Act of 1994, State of Tennessee. The State Contractors License bid envelope form must be completed and attached to outer bid envelope. A copy of the State Contractors License shall be included with the bid package. Contractors must comply with all Drug Free Requirements. The work in general consists of the following approximate quantities:
1. Installation of approximately 16,669 linear feet of 6-inch and 8-inch ductile iron pipe water lines, without disrupting water service to existing customers.
2. The allotted construction time is one hundred eighty (210) calendar days to substantial completion and two hundred ten (240) calendar days to final completion.
