The approximate quantities are: cold plane pavement removal 2 inch deep, 1,200 square yards; level 3, inch, ACP Mixture, 350 tons; asphalt concrete pavement repair of various depths, 250 square yards; concrete curbs of various types, 400 feet; driveways and walks, 2,200 square feet; traffic signal modification Maxwell Road and Grove Street Intersection, lump sum; and all other work called for in the plans and specifications. Estimated cost range: $350,000 to $450,000. Each bid must be submitted on the required forms and be accompanied by bid security, in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured institution as defined in ORS 706.008, or surety bond payable to Lane County, in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of bid. Bids for the work described above will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following Bid Closing. Prevailing wage rates for public works contracts in Oregon are required for this project pursuant to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Lane County will not consider a bid unless the bid contains a statement by the bidder that the bidder will comply with ORS 279C.838 and ORS 279C.840.
