As of September 29, 2022, the project is anticipated to be awarded sometime next week. Project consists of 360 square feet of remodeling existing garage stall into a new women's locker room for the police department. Work includes demolition of existing features; buildout of restroom, shower room and locker room; and infill of OH door opening. Qualified bidders may submit bids for project as described in this Document. Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders. Bids are for a single prime-bid general contractor. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to the Owner as a guaranty of the prompt execution of the contract. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders' Questions and Substitution Requests: Shall be submitted to the Architect a minimum of 7 days prior to Bid Date. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time set in Notice to Proceed based on material availability. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
