The City of Henry is inviting responsible, qualified consultants for Statements of Qualifications ("SOQs") for providing master planning services in support of a state-funding assisted study for the "Port of Henry" (the Port), located along the Illinois River in North-Central Illinois. This planning effort, and its guiding work product, the "Port Master Plan Development and Implementation Plan" (document), is a unique opportunity to shape the economic prosperity over the next 50 years for both the local community as well as the surrounding, 4-5 county region. This SOQ is not an invitation to bid. Responses shall be evaluated based on the relative merits of the qualifications. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
