CONTRACT SCOPE AND CUTTING LIMITS a. This contract consists of cutting of all brush, all trees and other growth by hand or machine methods. Roads included in the scope of the work shall be determined in the below Table 2.1 showing the approximate length along with the level of service (LOS) of each road. Roads locations could be determined through the online map and highlighted in the below Figure 2.1 . b. Brush and Trees Cutting Management limits is determined as below: For roads with LOS Type C - Cutting shall be cleared to the right-of-way limits or as directed by the Project Engineer or as indicated in the field by means of ribbons/flags. Note: The width of the highway right of way does vary, depending on the road. The approximate total length the stated roads is estimated to be around 52.0 km. The contractor shall verify the area required and the work length to be cleared prior to submitting the bid. c. Ditching will be required wherever identified by the Project Engineer based on need. A dollar allowance has been indicated in Appendix B.
