Contract for the provision of snow removal services for the Vehicle Management Building, 1050 College Hill Road, Fredericton, N.B, for a period of one (1) year from November 1, 2022 to October 1, 2023 with the option to renew for 2 additional one (1) year periods upon written agreement from both parties. Pricing shall be subject to negotiation of a satisfactory contract price not to exceed the tendered price plus any published increase in the New Brunswick Consumer Price Index. Contract will be award to the lowest compliant bid for a one (1) year period and meet the requirements detailed within the attached Specification. Prior to Contract award, the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure may consult with other departments and agencies of the Province of New Brunswick to obtain information on the Vendor's past performance within the previous five (5) years. Results from the aforementioned consultations that are unsatisfactory to the Department, in its sole and absolute discretion, will result in the disqualification of the Vendor's bid. A bid bond executed in favor of Her Majesty the Queen in the Right of the Province of New Brunswick as Represented by the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure or a certified cheque or bank draft payable to the Minister of Finance in the amount of (TWO THOUSAND ($2,000.00)) shall accompany the tender.
