Bids shall be addressed "City of Greenwood, Arkansas, 30 Bell Road, Greenwood, Arkansas 72936" and shall be labeled "Bid for City of Greenwood West Center Street Water Line Extension (HWEI Project No. 2022094)". Bidders shall include their Arkansas license number on the outside of their sealed bids. Any bid received after the scheduled opening time will be returned unopened. This project includes the installation of approximately 250-linear feet of 12-inch PVC water line, 80-linear feet of 12-inch restrained joint ductile iron pipe, and 60-linear feet of 24-inch steel encasement pipe by dry bore. Bidders will be required to inform themselves of all Addenda duly issued in accordance with the requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Information regarding the number of Addenda that have been duly issued can be obtained from Hawkins-Weir Engineers. Each Bidder must deposit with their Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders must be licensed in conformance with the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors as defined in Arkansas Code 17-25-101 and related statutes. The City of Greenwood, Arkansas reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any and all Bids. Bids shall remain firm for a period not to exceed 60 days from the Bid opening date.
