The Base Bid work involves installation of F.C.I.D. provided materials to replace approximately 5,250 feet of 6 inch through 12 inch steel irrigation pipe with PVC pipe. There are two (2) Additive Bid Schedules which also involve installation of F.C.I.D. provided materials and replacement of up to 3,340 feet of 6 inch through 10 inch steel irrigation pipe with PVC pipe. The project is located in the West Pasco area of the City of Pasco. All work shall be completed by MARCH 17, 2023 Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed forms and accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond, payable to F.C.I.D., in the amount not less than 5 percent of the Total Bid Price. The Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations: TRI-CITY CONSTRUCTION COUNCIL, INC., Kennewick, Washington. FRANKLIN COUNTY IRRIGATION DISTRICT, 4320 Road 111, Pasco, Washington. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained by contacting Gary Weatherly, PE, J-U-B Engineers, Inc. at gweatherly@jub.com. Bids will only be accepted from those Contractors who are on the Plan holders list. Only those Bidders requesting documents from J-U-B Engineers will be added to the Plan holders list. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects and to reject any and all Bids. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of Bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any Bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No Bidder may withdraw a Bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the Contract cannot be awarded within the specified period; the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Owner and Bidder.
