The City of West Palm Beach (City) is soliciting qualified, experienced firms to provide general professional engineering and consulting services on an as-needed basis, under continuing services contracts, under the provisions of Section 287.055, Florida Statutes ("CCNA"), for the Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Area of Qualification: Category 102 - Surface Water Treatment The scope of professional services shall be on an as-needed basis, to provide services in the Area(s) of Qualification, including, but not limited to, the following: engineering studies; surveys; geotechnical, hydraulic modeling; engineering design (various treatment processes, electrical, mechanical, structural; control and instrumentation, etc.); ancillary architectural design, landscape architecture; preparation of plans, specifications and contract documents; preparation of cost estimates; obtaining necessary federal, state and local governmental agency permits; construction inspections; construction management; contract administration; project completion certifications and as-builts as may be required; presentations to the City Commission and the general public; right-of-way identification, appraisal and assistance in acquisition; assistance in identifying and acquiring grants and loans from federal agencies or other applicable sources of funding; perform peer review, constructability review, value engineering, and master planning.
