Only cash, cashier's check or certified check will be accepted. All checks shall be made payable to the North Bergen MUA. Bids for the said contract must be based upon and in strict accordance with the aforesaid specifications. All bids must be stated in words and in figures and proposals must be made on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and required by specification; must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name, address and telephone number of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside. Bidder shall submit with the bid a Proposal Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the amount of 10% of the bid, or $20,000.00, whichever is less, made payable to the NBMUA. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.A.C. 10:5-13 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Resolved by the board of the NBMUA that the Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for: the Supply and Delivery of Wastewater Chemicals in accordance with the specifications prepared by the North Bergen Municipal Utilities Authority.
