Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Arroyo Grande, California. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Project proposes to seismically retrofit the existing bridge on Lopez Drive over and adjacent to Lopez Lake in San Luis Obispo County. Project implementation will increase the bridge strength to prevent a sudden bridge collapse during an earthquake event at the design level severity. Project activities involve CIDH piers, a new catcher bent and retainer cable system, and bird and bat exclusionary devices. Lake conditions are variable. All anticipated project impacts are temporary; no permanent impacts will occur. Addendum #1-#2 have been issued as of 9-15-2022. Note from Shimmick: -All Subcontractors whose packages are over $25,000 will need to submit a signed EEO Certificate and provide their company's age of firm and gross receipts. These Subcontractor EEO Certificates are due with the Prime Contractor's bid package, which are being physically turned in to the County's office in San Luis Obispo. It is imperative that we receive these from you by COB October 5th. Please send your completed EEO Certificate to estimating.southwest@shimmick.com Your age of firm and gross receipts may be included with your bid, but those are the two uncommon items that might go overlooked and not already be on your standard bid form.
