This combined synopsis/solicitation for construction services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This synopsis/solicitation is being advertised as Small Business Set-Aside only. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no separate written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is 70Z02822220000336. Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) codes are: 337110 - Wood Kitchen Cabinet and Countertop Manufacturing, Size standard in Employees (500) This requirement is for a fixed price contract. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13 and part 15 The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, Best Value. When submitting your proposals, request a price breakdown of the following: a. Cost of materials and equipment b. Cost of labor Contract will be awarded to the vendor who can provide Best value which includes all labor, material, cost and equipment required within the SOW. Cost and Past Performance factors will also be considered when selecting the award. Telephone requests of quotes, will not be accepted, a formal notice of changes (if applicable) will be issued in SAM.GOV (www.sam.gov). Wage determinations: 2015-4535 Rev 17 dated 04/22/2021 SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the following unless noted below: 1. Remove existing flooring, cabinetry, sink, microwave and refrigerator from space. 2. Install new cabinetry, flooring, backsplash, and sink. 3. Remove all appliances from the space as necessary for construction (i.e. microwave, refrigerator, etc.) and return to space in original (or newly designed) location. 4. Remove wooden coffee cup holder from behind the sink and return to space in original (or newly designed) location. 5. Test for functionality of newly installed hardware, cabinets, and kitchen appliances. 6. Dispose of all waste in accordance with local regulations. 7. Leftover paint, flooring & baseboard used, properly labeled, will be left for your future use unless otherwise directed. 8. Flooring tile and baseboards will be a neutral, possibly gray in color. Cabinets will be a neutral wood color (selection of the colors will take place prior to start of the project by LT Katiya Resney). 9. All work must be approved by the Contracting Officers Representative. 10. Dispose of all waste. XII: MEASUREMENTS: 1. Non-carpeted area of the space is approximately 11ft 9in by 5ft 8in. 2. New cabinetry will have roughly the same dimensions as the current layout with minor adjustments to allow the fridge room to sit all the way to the left with a 4in gap between the left wall and the fridge. 3. Current Bottom Cabinets measure approximately 8ft 8in by 3ft by 2ft. 4. Current Top Cabinets measure approximately 8ft 8in by 2ft by 1ft 1/2 in. 5. Instead of three cabinets below the counter top, the left and right cabinets will have a drawer on top that is 6in high. XIII: MATERIALS: 1. Countertops and Backsplash: warm White Quartz Stone 2. Cabinet Door Style: Shaker in Light Gray Matte 3. Cabinet Frame: Pre-finished plywood 3/4 " 4. Drawer Boxes: Solid Birch Wood drawer boxes 5. Cabinet pull handles: Black powder coated metal bar 6. Flooring: Tile 7. Include back splash tile to fill the 2ft gap between counter and top 8. Sink: Fire clay single bowl white kitchen sink with apron front 9. Faucet: Black with pull down sprayer XIV: CONSIDERATIONS: Use high quality materials that are easy to maintain, keep clean, are endurable, and can endure moisture and humidity. Location of Work: USCG District 7 DRI (GSA Federal Building) 909 SE 1st Ave Miami, FL. 33131 NTE $20K Performance Period: Performance of work is expected to commence NLT 10 days after award is made. Extension period must be approved by the Contracting Officer for any unforeseen delays. **Site visit**: It is highly recommended and encouraged that interested party's contact LT Katiya Resney for a site visit which will be held on Tuesday Aug 30, 2022 @ 09:00AM EST.
