Site work and paving for a road / highway in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

For furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals, and for performing all Work required for McKinney Falls Parkway Intersection Improvements (the "Project") located at the intersections of McKinney Falls Parkway and Tinnapark Way and McKinney Falls Parkway and William Cannon Drive in Travis County, Texas. The Project consists of the following: construction of intersection and operational improvements consisting of grading, base, asphalt pavement, signing, pavement markings, and erosion control The Project consists of the following: construction of intersection and operational improvements consisting of grading, base, asphalt pavement, signing, pavement markings, and erosion control. Namely extension of the southbound left-turn lane on McKinney Falls Parkway at William Cannon Drive and installation of a hooded left-turn median treatment on McKinney Falls Parkway at Tinnapark Way/Railway Summit Drive. All Bids shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid guaranty in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid, as specified in "Instructions To Bidders". Performance and payment bonds shall be issued in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount by a solvent corporate surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas, and shall meet any other requirements established by law or by Owner pursuant to applicable law Minimum insurance requirements are specified in Article 6, Standard General Conditions, as may be amended. Contract Time is of the essence and all Work shall be substantially complete within 60 Calendar Days after the date specified in the Notice to Proceed, in accordance with the "Bid Form". Final completion shall be achieved within 30 Calendar Days after substantial completion. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the opening of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids (including, without limitation, any or all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids). The Owner also reserves the right to waive all irregularities and defects in the Bids and the bidding process, except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder that, in the Board's judgment, will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. (Texas Water Code 49.273 The contract will require compliance with Texas Government Code, Chapter 2258, Subchapter B, pertaining to prevailing wage rates. In accordance with Texas Water Code 49.279, the District specifies the prevailing wage rates for public works established by Travis County, Texas as the District's prevailing wage rates. The contractor for the Project must pay not less than the specified prevailing wage rates to workers employed by it in execution of the contract. Liquidated damages : Two hundred and No/Hundredths Dollars ($200.00) for each calendar day.
