Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
1. THE WORK to be undertaken under this CONTRACT is briefly summarized as follows: Install approximately 630 m of 1,200 mm diameter PVC DR32.5 pressure pipe (or approved alternate) via. open cut trenching. Install approximately 250 m of 1,200 mm diameter PVC DR32.5 pressure pipe with steel encasement (or approved alternate) via. trenchless installation. Construct 4 cleanout manholes. Construct 2 drain manholes. Hot tap into the existing 1,200 mm CCP and 900 mm CCP line to bypass the existing Valve Chamber 1. Supply and install 3 gate valves (2 included with Hot tap). Abandon Valve Chamber 1. Abandon 1 manhole Restore all impacted land and features. Flush and clean the isolated section of existing sewer between Valve Chamber 1 and Valve 911-GV-102 as specified in the contract DRAWINGS. Methodology of sewage removal shall be determined by the CONTRACTOR. CCTV inspection of isolated section of existing sewer. All other work as specified in the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS.
