HARRISON COUNTY UTILITY AUTHORITY REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Collection, Transportation and Disposal of Residential Garbage, Curbside Recycling and Trash Waste Sealed Proposals are invited and will be received by the Harrison County Utility Authority, Gulfport, Mississippi, for the collection, transportation and disposal of residential garbage, curbside recycling, and trash waste within the territorial jurisdiction of Harrison County Utility Authority including the municipalities' corporate limits. Proposal must be made on the Proposal Forms and in accordance with the Instructions to Proposers furnished by the Harrison County Utility Authority (hereinafter sometimes referred to as the "Authority") located at 10271 Express Drive, Gulfport, MS. The Solid Waste Manager will furnish copies of the Request for Proposals (hereinafter sometimes referred to as the "RFP") forms to prospective Contractors. It is the intent of the Harrison County Utility Authority to award the contract to the lowest and best responsible Proposer by the action of the Board of Directors at a regular Board of Directors' meeting. The Harrison County Utility Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive defects and/or irregularities in any Proposal. A proposal bond in the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) must accompany the Proposal, in accordance with the Instruction to Proposers.
