Phase V of this project will focus on the rehabilitation of several deficient bridges throughout the City. Project is included City of Chesapeake Fiscal Year 2025-2029 Page no 398 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This project funds the design and rehabilitation of deficient bridges to extend their service life or bridge replacement should it become necessary. Bridge repairs in Phase V include the Deal Bridge (Land of Promise Road over Pocaty Creek), Cox Bridge (Long Ridge Road over Pocaty Creek), and Newland Swamp Bridge (Ballahack Road over Newland Swamp). Project is included Project is in City of Chesapeake FY 2023-2027 CIP *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
