Particle size distribution to meet the following gradation: Hydrated Lime Specifications - size 100% passes at 40 mesh sieve, 98% at 100 mesh, and 85% at 325 mesh. Chemistry: 95% Ca(OH)2. Moisture less than 2%. Contractor is responsible for pneumatic loading of product into sealed storage silos. Deliveries are on an as-needed basis. The average truckload is based on 20 - 25 tons per delivery. One site (Mill Run) is the primary site receiving hydrated lime. The other two sites may use the hydrated lime as a backup if the standard chemical they use would not be available for some reason such as a kiln issue. This would allow the machines to still operate. The tonnage estimate is based on the primary site using the hydrated lime and the backup sites if necessary. The term of the contract shall be for one year from date of issuance of the purchase order with a one year renewal option. Payment will be calculated for actual tonnage of contracted quality hydrated lime delivered and pneumatically blown into doser silos and based on submission of invoices in accordance with the approved contract. The invoices must include all pertinent company information, purchase order number, number of tons delivered, date of delivery, and delivery site. All questions shall identify in the subject line the Solicitation Number and Title and shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to the Procurement officer at least seven (7) days prior to the Quote due Date and no later than the date and time specified
