The District will require the services of an As-Needed In-Plant Inspection Services firm (Consultant) to provide professional services to support the Districts CIP and Development projects. The District will qualify and select two (2) In-Plant Inspection firms that the District can utilize on an as-needed basis. A maximum of $175,000 is projected to be expended between the two (2) contracts. Interested candidates are required to send a Letter of Interest (LOI) and a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to Brandon DiPietro, Field Services Manager, at Otay Water District, 2554 Sweetwater Springs Boulevard, Spring Valley, CA 919782004 or email brandond@otaywater.gov. If a firm has submitted a SOQ to the District within the last calendar year, and the qualifications remain current and accurate, then only a LOI is required. Consultants must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. If a consultant submits a proposal but is not registered with the Department of Industrial Relations, their proposal will be considered unresponsive.
