The Capital Regional District invites detailed proposals from consultants (the "Proponents") in strict accordance with these Proposal Documents (CRD, RFP No. 2022-034). The proposals will be evaluated for the selection of a consultant (or consultants) with the intent to negotiate to enter into a contract (the "Contract") to provide the services described in Appendix "A". The Capital Regional District (CRD), hereinafter referred to as the "CRD", invites Proposals for the development, delivery and evaluation of the Agricultural Stormwater Management Outreach Initiative comprising of four workshops. The aim is to improve stormwater management practices on agricultural lands and meet the following objectives: o Slow, sink and store rainwater; o Reduce pollution entering storm drains, rural watersheds and local waterways; o Increase rainwater filtration and reduce stormwater runoff; o Reduce soil erosion; o Reduce flooding risk; o Adapt to climate change; and o Increase resilience of the capital region's food system. The quantities are estimated annual amounts, initially for a one (1) year period with the option to extend the contract for an additional one (1) year periods upon mutual agreement. The CRD reserves the right to award in whole or in part. Proponents may be awarded additional follow-on work without a further competition. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
