As of November 23, 2022, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Bids received after the designated time and date of bid opening will not be considered. Bidders must comply with all of the requirements set forth in the Project Manual. Bidding Documents will be available on Friday August 19, 2022. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid shall be submitted with the bid. Performance, Labour and Material Payment Bonds and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful Bidder. The Board of Education, Minooka Community Consolidated School District 201, reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures, and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the School District. All Bidders must comply with Illinois Revised Statutes, 1981, Chapter 48, Section 39s-1 through 39s-12, requiring the payment of prevailing wage rates to all labourers, workmen and mechanics working on publicly-funded projects. If during the time period of work, these rates change, the contractor shall be responsible for additional costs without any change to the contract amount. The date of Final Completion shall be no later than the end of the day on: 1. November 1st for all work. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
