Anaheim Elementary School District (AESD) of Orange County, California, acting through its Governing Board of Education, hereinafter referred to as "District", is requesting Statement of Qualifications ("SOQ") for Materials Testing & Special Inspection Services from firms interested in providing such professional services and to allow the District to pre-qualify a limited number of full-service consulting firms (each, a "Consultant") for the related Materials Testing & Special Inspection work associated with the various Measure 'G' & Measure 'J' projects and other District Projects such as projects associated with the School Energy Efficiency Stimulus (SEES) Program, renewable, solar energy generation, and HVAC energy conservation. The District is a public school district with offices located in Anaheim, California. The District serves approximately 14,900 students at 24 campuses for grades Pre-K through 6. AESD's 22 square mile boundaries include most of Anaheim, Orange County's largest city. All Qualifications shall be sealed in a package, with the contents and the outside of the shipping package plainly marked "RFQ No. 2023-01-FAC-PSA - Materials Testing & Special Inspection All communication pertaining to the proposal will only be made through the Facilities Planning & Construction Department, Senior Director of Facilities, Planning & Construction (Isela Vazquez). Requests for Information (RFI), questions regarding the RFQ should be set forth in writing and sent via email only to ivazquez@ aesd.org. The subject line of each email shall be specified as "Request for Information - RFQ No. 2023-01-FAC-PSA: Materials Testing & Special Inspection Services." No person other than the aforementioned is authorized to receive questions related to this RFQ, and the District shall have no obligation to respond to questions sent to any other person or entity. In its discretion, the District may disregard the Response of any Firm that, in connection with this RFQ, contacts any other District representative including, without limitation, any member of the District's Board, Assistant Superintendents, Directors, Administrators, Consultants, Managers, or any other District personnel. All Responses and other materials submitted in regards to this RFQ shall become the property of the District. Proposing firms are hereby made aware that the District will not reimburse any cost for the preparation or submission of the proposal to any proposing firm for any reason.
