Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
The following is a general description of the work required and is not inclusive of all work required to satisfactorily complete the project as required by the contract drawings and other sections of the specifications. NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) has experienced deficiencies with the potable water system due to age and operating environment of the system infrastructure at the site. In 2016 Cobb, Fendley &Associates, Inc. (Cobb Fendley) developed a Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) that reviewed the existing potable water system capacities and capabilities including the booster pump system, disinfection system, elevated storage tank capacity, evaluating alternatives for replacement and rehabilitation of both the ground and elevated potable water storage tanks. The current system capacities were evaluated based on the applicable governing agencies regulations and industry standards. The goal for JSC is to utilize this PER to address defects and find long term solutions for its existing water distribution system, storage capacities and booster pump capabilities that minimize ongoing maintenance costs. But not limited to, please review the specifications for a complete scope of work. Magnitude of Construction: $10M - $13M Prevailing Wages apply. Contract Duration = 540 days
