San. Patricio County, Texas hereafter called OWNER, is requesting sealed written Bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and performing all Work required for the following Project: "Thomas Airport Runway Lights Maintenance" The project consists of the repair, replacement, and reconfiguration of one new PAPI system, one new REIL system and reconfiguration of one existing REIL system for the airport runway at the Alfred C. "Bubba" Thomas Airport in Sinton, TX. Neither the OWNER nor the ENGINEER will be responsible for full or partial sets of documents, including any addenda, obtained from any other source. ALL BIDS RECEIVED AFTER THE DATE AND TIMES SET FORTH ABOVE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR CONSIDERATION. All Bids shall be accompanied by an acceptable bid guaranty in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid, as specified .in Section 00 21 13, Instructions To Bidders. Performance and payment bonds when required shall be executed on forms furnished by the OWNER. Each bond shall be issued in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas, and shall meet any other requirements established by law or by OWNER pursuant to applicable law. Minimum insurance requirements are specified in Section 00 72 01, Supplemental General Conditions. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in any Bid or solicitation procedure. Bids may be held for a period not exceeding sixty (60) days for the purpose of review. OWNER intends to award the contract on a best value method that will take into account both price and qualitative considerations.
