Saluda County is requesting bids from qualified licensed General Contractors for the renovation of a vacant building. Respondents will be asked to provide a price for the renovation project, as detailed in the Architectural Drawings provided. Saluda County is requesting bids from qualified licensed General Contractors for the renovation of the vacant building located at 307 West Butler Ave. Saluda, SC 29138 The contractor is responsible for site management of the project including the following: o Inspection of existing conditions prior to submitting proposal. o Security and protection of the facility during renovation. o Contractor is to remove and properly dispose of all debris If, during the renovation, the contractor finds unexpected conditions, the contractor must notify the Library Director, Heath Ward and negotiations will begin to correct the unexpected condition to the satisfaction of all parties before work proceeds. Asbestos and lead studies have already been completed and remediation performed.
