Sealed bids will be received by the Office of the Village Clerk, Municipal Building, 16 Croton Avenue, Ossining, N.Y. 10562 for the following contract(s): CONTRACT NO. DPW-22-03: INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT MAIN AND SPRING STREETS The principal feature of the proposed work is to formalize the interim intersection bump-outs with new curbing, sidewalk, and pedestrian ramps. Also included is the complete replacement of the existing traffic signal including pedestrian actuated signals, vehicular detection, pavement milling, resurfacing, and pavement markings. The bids shall be in accordance with the Specifications, Drawings and Terms of the proposed contract. BID SECURITY: Each proposal must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, in the form and subject to the conditions stipulated in the bid documents. MINORITY PARTICIPATION POLICY: It is the policy of the Village of Ossining to include minority and women-owned businesses in our solicitations and to take affirmative steps to ensure that M/WBE's have full participation in our procurement process. VILLAGE RIGHTS: The Village reserves the right to waive any informalities in any proposals, or to reject any or all proposals and to advertise for new proposals. The principal feature of the work to be performed is furnishing all labor and materials to modify the intersections of Main/Spring Street. This work shall include, but not be limited to, curb removal, modification to drainage structures, grading, installation of colored and imprinted portland cement concrete and sidewalk, relocation of streetlamps, removal of existing traffic signal system, installation of new traffic signal system, asphalt pavement and installation of pavement markings. Any work that includes removal of trees and benches associated with the primary work scope s NOT part of this contract.
