The work is to conduct post wildfire recce surveys using standard silviculture procedures and experienced silviculture surveyors on areas damaged by wildfire. The emphasis of the surveys is to identify plantable spots. Survey results will be articulated using maps, tables and spatial files. No RESULTS data entry is required. Access may be restricted in some areas due to removed culverts, bridges or road rehabilitation. Snags or wind throw may also block some road access. This project consists of both free-growing stands and stands of mature timber burnt in 2017 and 2018 wildfires. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
