Based on a proposed planting plan, design and install an irrigation system at the property of the Wailuku Health Center. Includes connecting to the existing potable water system, with a properly sized backflow preventer, Includes all underground piping, fittings and valves, including pop up and above ground irrigation heads per specifications. Includes all controllers and timers for the requires stations, in place complete, including labor, material, and one year warranty. This project requires for the contractor to design and provide a lump sum bid on the irrigation needs for the subject project. A site plan and specifications are included for the use of the contractor. The proposed design will be reviewed by the procurement officer and Contract Officer. SUMMARY A. Provide a landscape irrigation system for the grounds at the Wailuku Health Center. Contractor shall design and install irrigation based on information provided in the Site Plan - Planting Plan attached herein. Contracting Officer shall review and approve irrigation design prior to any installation of the irrigation system. B. Make minor field adjustments required due to existing site conditions and revisions that are a result of project construction and not noted in the contractors design to insure adequate coverage and even distribution of water in all landscaped areas. C. The work in this Section includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Excavation and backfilling. 2. Pipe Sleeves, Fittings and Sprinkler Heads. 3. Valves and Cross Connection Devices. 4. Automatic Controller, Remote Control Valves and Control Wire. 5. Adjustment and Instructions. 6. Project Record Drawings. 7. Warranty. Shortlist Confirmed.
