Renovation of a power facility in Jamestown, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
For the supply of labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and technical direction for the replacement of the storefront door system at the main front door. In addition, a portion of the terrazzo floor system shall be replaced inside the front entry vestibule at the S.A. Carlson Generating Station located at 136 Steele Street, Jamestown, NY 14701. Note that all laborers, workers and mechanics working on the construction site described by these specifications must be certified as having successfully completed the OSHA 10-hour construction safety and health course. The minimum wage rates to be paid to laborers and mechanics engaged in the construction of this project shall be the latest wage rates established by the Secretary of Labor and the State of New York. A link for this specific bid is provided within the bid specifications. The BPU reserves the right to reject any or all bids, the right to waive any informalities, the right to permit exceptions deemed not to be of substance, and the right to accept any bid which the BPU deems to represent the prudent and economical expenditure of the public monies for the benefit of its customers by securing the maximum quality at the lowest possible cost.
