The estimated cost of the project is approx. $750-900,000. Only general contractors and who have completed the pre-qualification process and are certified as qualified will be eligible to bid. Project is a 3,000 s.f. single-story addition that will serve as the new home of the Coastal Alabama Community College Welding Program in Monroeville, AL. The addition, which will be added to the west side of the existing Allied Health building, will be constructed of CMU exterior walls with an interior steel frame & roof structure with a low-slope roof. The addition will be a large open room outfitted with welding stations and worktables and containing a small office and storage/electrical room. The project will also include limited renovations to the existing building to convert the existing field maintenance shop into a Welding Classroom and Maintenance Lab.
