Bidders also have the opportunity to submit a proposal for the landfilling of these materials. Entrepreneurs working in the field of waste management will be eligible to bid. The documents will be available as of August 24, 2022 exclusively from the Electronic Tendering System (SÉAO) by calling 1-866-669-7326 or by consulting www.seao.ca; the fees established by this organization being applicable. Any bid, to be valid, must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, payable to the Régie intermunicipale de la region de Thetford (RIRT) or a bid bond in the amount equal to 10% of the total of the bid and a letter of intent from an insurance company agreeing to provide a work performance bond equivalent to 50% of the total bid. The irrevocable guarantees and the prices submitted must be valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days following the date on which the tenders are opened. These documents must be certified originals. The Régie intermunicipale de la region de Thetford (RIRT) does not undertake to accept either the lowest or the highest or any of the tenders received, without incurring any obligation or expense of any kind towards the tenderer(s). The Régie may, if it is advantageous for it to do so, disregard any lack of conformity of the tender if this lack does not break the rule of equality between the tenderers and it is not required to justify the acceptance or rejection of any submission. The Régie also reserves the right to carry out itself certain activities requested in whole or in part in this call for tenders.
