The Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG) will accept sealed bids on behalf of the Town of Orange for a Replacement HOT WATER Boiler Heating System at the Orange Fire Department located at 18 Water Street in Orange, MA. If FRCOG offices are closed for any reason, bids will open the next day at the same time. Deadline for written questions - 9/8/2022 NOON Send questions to bids@frcog.org 9/19/2022- Notice of Award B. 9/23/2022- Contract Execution TURNKEY BOILER INSTALLATION TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1. Remove & dispose of existing Burnham V-908 boiler, breeching & return yoke piping; dispose of properly. 2. Furnish and install one brand new replacement boiler (not brand specific) & associated materials. 3. Furnish and install new smokepipe to connect to existing chimney. 4. Include new thermal insulation on all pipes & valves in affected area. 5. Complete all necessary electrical hook-up work. Electrical work to be completed by MA licensed electrician. 6. Provide test & start up services 7. Other required services as required to result in a Turnkey installation.
