Renovation of a municipal facility in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of December 02, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded 4-6weeks from now. OPW 53597 - 6th & Leavenworth Grit Facility Improvements project. *This project includes upgrades to the existing 6th and Leavenworth Diversion Structure by replacing the existing slide gate and improving access; removal and replacement of the existing grit building with a new pre-cast building; modifications to the existing grit basin with basin covers; addition of odor control technology; replacement of the clamshell bridge crane; repairs to the existing effluent pipe; and upgrades to the instrumentation and control, HVAC, electrical equipment, and miscellaneous site/civil improvements associated with the upgrades. *This project requires submission of an Economic Equity and Inclusion Plan (EEIP). **This project qualifies for Apprentice utilization. Contractor should attach Apprenticeship Incentive Form (AIF) with their bid submission to utilize this provision. ***This project has an SEB reserve for ESB and SB Tier 1 & 2 categories for 2.6% of the total bid amount. Please refer to the Q&A Section for more details on this item. ****The PW Department is also requiring verification of a "Class B" or better City of Omaha General Contractor's License at the time of bid.
