Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Bidders will be able to view preliminary results via e-Builder as soon as the bids are opened and will be notified of the results within fourteen (14) days of the date set above for bids to be received. The Contract shall be awarded by the Governing Body of the Owner at the sole and complete discretion of such Governing Body. The City of Shawnee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in bids. The Project provides two alternative bids for the repair of approximately 625 linear feet of corrugated metal pipe (CMP) with reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) or cured in place pipe (CIPP) ranging in size from 18" to 42" in diameter. Both alternatives shall require a minimum of 145 linear feet of repairing and replacing the CMP and a minimum of 40 linear feet of lining the CMP. Alternate Bid #1 shall consist of approximately 440 linear feet of pipe being repaired and replaced with RCP ranging from 24" to 36" in diameter in addition to the aforementioned repairs, the replacement of 75 linear feet of inlet throat, and one (1) structure top. Construction will also include surface restoration including concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, sod, and other items. Construction will occur in existing right-of-way, existing drainage or utility easements, and temporary construction easements obtained for this project. Alternate Bid #2 shall consist of approximately 440 linear feet of pipe being lined with CIPP ranging from 24" to 36" in diameter in addition to the aforementioned repairs, the replacement of 25 linear feet of inlet throat, and four (4) structure tops. Construction will also include surface restoration including concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, sod, and other items. Construction will occur in existing right-of- way, existing drainage or utility easements, and temporary construction easements obtained for this project. No pre-bid meeting will be held for this project. Each Bidder shall upload and/or file with their bid a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond drawn on an acceptable bank in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid.
