Daviess County Fiscal Court is seeking a qualified contractor to replace and level all existing sprinkler heads for eight (8) soccer fields at Horse Fork Creek Park. The undersigned certifies that he/she has the authority to bind this company in an agreement/ contract to supply the commodity or service in accordance with all terms, conditions, and pricing specified. By signing and submitting this bid, the Vendor acknowledges that they have read, understand and agree to all aspects of the specifications and bid requirements as presented without reservation or alteration. This Bid, if accepted, will constitute an Agreement and Contract with Daviess County, Kentucky, upon approval by Daviess County Fiscal Court. Prices are firm during this agreement term, unless agreed upon in writing by the County. The existing sprinkler controller system is a Hunter ACC2 Decoder Controller. Contractor is to be familiar with this system and its requirements. There are seven (7) zones with four (4) heads per zone per field, for a total of two hundred twenty-four (224) sprinkler heads to be replaced. Product sheets are included in the bid document for Hunter brand replacement sprinkler heads (Hunter I-25-04 and Hunter I-25-06). This is merely to convey the target performance desired by the County. It is not the intention of the specifications within this document to eliminate or discourage any bidder; however, quoted items must equal or exceed stated specifications. Sufficient documentation is required to verify equivalent or superior performance. Product sheets are included in the bid document for Hunter brand rThe Contractor shall perform the following: a. Each sprinkler head is to be dug up, replaced, and put back at existing grade. b. Ensure sprinkler heads are set in full rotation with maximum coverage along with appropriate nozzle selection for each head. c. Seed area around replaced sprinkler heads with existing type of grass seed, and fertilize all area that has been disturbed. d. Upon the replacement of all sprinkler heads, contractor shall test the system to ensure it is operating at the desired coverage levels and producing equal distribution of water. e.
