Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Cumberland, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project will accommodate and provide accessibility for persons with disabilities on South Street from Oldtown Road to Industrial Boulevard at the intersections of South Street and First Street, Second Street, Third Street, Fourth Street, and Franks Lane. This project includes the installation of accessible curb ramps at the aforementioned street intersections, concrete pavement repairs, the adjustment and modification of several existing inlets, and the replacement of a small retaining wall at First and South Streets. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the full amount of the accepted bid will be required of the successful bidder. A Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to waive any technicalities and to reject any or all bids, and to accept any or all proposals which in their judgment is to the best interest of the City. The City of Cumberland is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
