Question Deadline 09/05/2022 This project includes the steam and tunnel line repair/replacement include the maintenance hole re/engineer, main steam line, condensate lines and distribution lines, enhancing the university's safety for the steam distribution system and facility management operations. The total Construction Cost Limitation for the project is $10,000,000, for various Steam distribution line, maintenance hole, condensate line, and tunnel lines repair/replacement. Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) seeks proposals from qualified firms for the design of the steam and tunnel lines which require repair/replacement. EKU is seeking firms that meet or exceed the criteria detailed in Section 3, Requirements for Statement of Qualifications. Respondents shall carefully read the criteria contained in the attached Scope and General Information and submit a complete statement of Qualifications responding to all questions. Incomplete Qualifications will be considered non-responsive and are subject to rejection. Please refer to attachments in the Buyer Attachments section of this RFP solicitation. The form of the awarded contract will be a Personal Service Contract (PSC), with a set 'not to exceed' (NTE) dollar amount, in addition to AIA B101-2017 (or latest edition) Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect, that will be submitted to the Kentucky State Government Contract Review Committee for review and approval. A sample PSC is attached for review purposes only and should not be submitted with proposal. Successful Offeror must be registered with the Kentucky Secretary of State Office as Description required by Kentucky law. Potential Respondents should be aware that the Owner does not consider billable time incurred while traveling to and from the Project site, Owners offices, or Board of Regents meetings for the Project. Potential Respondents whose offices are located where such timeconsuming travel will be regularly required in the performance of services for the Project, should consider this policy when deciding whether or not to submit their Qualifications. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
