**As of September 9, 2022, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $409,244.89** THE CITY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LATE DELIVERY BY ANY COURIER OR THE POSTAL SERVICE. Bidders are required to comply with: (1) Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier check or bid bond payable to the City Treasurer of the City of Perth Amboy, as a guarantee that if contract is awarded to them, they will enter into a contract therefore. The amount so deposited shall be ten percent (10%) of the bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. N.J.S.A 40A11-14 provides that the Governing body of any municipality may provide the form and manner of approval of all guarantee, indemnity, fidelity or other bonds required; (2) Affirmative Action Regulations requirement of N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C.17:27; (3) P.L.2004, c.57 which amends and supplements the business registration provision of N.J.S.A.52:32-44. Each bidder must strictly comply with all requirements for a regular bid as directed or required by the specifications and the Statutes in such case made and provided. The Purchasing Agent reserves the right to reject all bids if deemed in the best interest of the City of Perth Amboy to do so and their actions are subject to the approval of the Mayor and Council of the City of Perth Amboy. Notice is hereby given to all bidders that if their bids are informal, defective, or irregular, the same will be rejected.
