Bennett County Board of Commissioners are accepting sealed bids for hauling gravel. The amount of approximately 35,000 tons of gravel or until the stockpile is depleted, to be bid by price per ton per mile. Gravel to be hauled from the May Pit located in Jackson County S Sec 24 T41 R40 to designated roads and stockpiles in Western Bennett County, approximately 40 miles each load. Delivery must be completed by December 31, 2022, weather conditions will be considered, with a late penalty imposed of $200.00 per day. The successful bidder will be required to furnish proof of insurance and provide certificate of insurance for Workmens Compensation. Successful bidder will also need to get a Haul Agreement from Oglala Sioux Tribe. The Board of Bennett County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities or technicalities therein, to advertise for new proposals, and to accept the bid that is to the best advantage of and is in the best interest of Bennett County.
