The City of Upper Arlington requests submissions to provide Material Testing and Inspection Services for this project as identified in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ). This project is being designed and will be constructed to comply with the Ohio Building Code in effect at the time of design submission. For purposes of this RFQ, this project scope consists of the following: o Approximately 145,000 gross square feet o 5 stories plus mezzanine, mechanical penthouse, and partial basement o Cost of the Work $74.3 Million This new building is planned as a cast-in-place reinforced concrete structure, with post-tensioned floor slabs/ drop caps, reinforced concrete columns, concrete shear walls, and conventional reinforced concrete footings. The structure will transition to structural steel at the top floor and mechanical penthouse of the facility. The exterior enclosure will employ a combination of curtainwall and metal studs/exterior sheathing/air-water barrier/insulation, and a rain-screen cladding system. Questions must be provided to City of Upper Arlington via portal by 3:00 PM on Friday, September 9, 2022 in order to allow an answer to be distributed to all interested parties. No answers can be provided to questions received after this time and date The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
