Site work for a mixed-use development in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten per cent (10%) of the bid, but in no case in excess of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000), must be submitted with the bid guaranteeing that if a contract is awarded, the bidder shall execute the contract. If applicable, Bidders must also submit a Consent of Surety with the bid, wherein the Surety agrees to furnish a performance bond equal to one hundred per cent (100%) of the full amount of the contract if the Bidder is awarded the contract. If applicable, a Performance Bond must be furnished by the successful Bidder simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract. Questions regarding the bid specifications must be submitted in writing by email to: purchasing@eastbrunswick.org. Written questions and inquiries must be received no later than five (5) business days prior to the bid opening date. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27, et seq., N.J.S.A. 52:32-44, and all other applicable statutes, laws or regulations. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids under the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2. In the case of tie bids, the Township shall have the authority to award the contract to the Bidder the Township, in its sole discretion, selects. The Township of East Brunswick is seeking to secure a highly qualified contractor to provide all the labor, materials, supplies, furnishings, services, shop drawings, review, equipment, expertise and supervision to develop plans and specifications to construct a post tension concrete basketball court with new equipment. The contractor shall, at its expense, obtain any and all required permits, inspections, and testing as well as pay any fees required for the development of the facility, to be located at Bicentennial Park, 180 Hardenburg Lane, East Brunswick NJ. The goal of this project is to provide one new basketball court at Bicentennial Park using post tension concrete. The Scope of Work for the design and construction of this Project consists of the following components: a. Construct one new post tension concrete basketball court. The concrete slab is proposed to be 94' x 60'. b. Provide an acrylic based sports surface suitable to be installed on top of concrete. Line the completed courts for regulation basketball. c. Provide all basketball court accessory equipment. d. Provide a perimeter concrete curb installed around the post tension concrete slab. e. Provide a 20-year structural warranty on the post tension concrete slab from structural cracking, heaving and/or settling. Provide a 10-year surface warranty on the Coating Sports Surface from peeling or bubbling.
