Federal Aid No: BRZ-1620(004) The North Carolina Department of Transportation is Requesting Bids for B-5631 Sampson Bridge 169 Replacement. All Quantities Are Estimates Only. The Contractor Must Furnish Labor, Equipment, and Traffic Control. The department of transportation does not exclude any person from participation in, deny any person benefits of, or otherwise discriminate against anyone in connection with the award and performance of any contract covered by this program on the basis of race, color, sex, political affiliation/influence, or national origin. The availability date for this project is October 31, 2022.
The completion date is November 20, 2023. A bid bond or bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid will be required. The bidder shall submit an electronic bid bond with each electronic bid submittal unless a bid deposit is furnished instead. All prospective bidders shall be prequalified with the department of transportation prior to submitting a bid. Contractors who are not prequalified may obtain information and forms for prequalifying from the contractual services unit, division of highways, department of transportation, 1509 mail service center, raleigh, n. C. All required prequalification statements and documents shall be filed with the contractual services unit at least four weeks prior to the date of opening bids. Statements of disadvantaged business enterprises participation must be presented with the bids. Dbe goal is 3% for this contract.
