Asbestos is believed to be located in the Alsask Water Treatment Plant, based on discussions and observations from staff. The building was constructed in 1962. The square footage of the building is approximately 1,360 square feet and is currently being used as a water treatment plant for the former Village of Alsask. This RFQ intends to allow interested and qualified Bidders to provide a competitive and cost effective quotation for the survey and removal of the asbestos. The quotation must include, but not limited to, an outline of the procedures and best practices followed by the Bidder's personnel in the identification, removal, transportation and disposal of asbestos, the expected time required to complete the survey and the removal, and the anticipated commencement and completion dates. The RM is looking for bidders to provide a fixed-price fee for the survey and the proposed detailed approach, plan, and costs to conduct the asbestos removal.
