This infrastructure project is for the bridge preservation of two structures on SR 4034 & 1004 in Bedford County. The structure work on SR 4034 that carries traffic over I-99 in King Township consists of removing the existing deck joints at abutments and place new expansion dams, place latex-modified concrete overlay over the entire deck, repair spalled, delaminated and hollow areas of concrete on far abutment as indicated, paint steel superstructure. The structure work on SR 1004 that carries traffic over Cove Creek in Snake Spring Township consists of placing grout between existing precast elements, perform stabilization of existing approach slab and installation of structure foundation drains. Minor roadway approach work will be completed on both SR 4034 & 1004 and other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 4034, SECTION 04B in BEDFORD COUNTY, KING AND SNAKE SPRING TOWNSHIPS.
