Tower lighting Replacement Rev. 1 Temple VA PROJECT # 674-22-4-5065-2426 Requirements The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment needed for the services to replace the lighting on the Radio Tower. Services will be performed at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care Facility in Temple, at 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Temple, Texas 76504 at the Radio tower building 57. After all work is completed, the contractor will have a walkthrough with the VA COR or Alternative COR to ensure all work is completed and ready to receive payment. The contractor shall provide all personnel, services, vehicles, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, facility supervision, administration and any other item(s) necessary to perform and accomplish this service. The contractor shall be familiar with all the terms, conditions, and requirement herein contained. All work must comply with federal, state, and local regulations. The period of performance for this service shall be less than 30 days to complete. "The C&A requirements do not apply, and that a Security Accreditation Package is not required for this contract." Project Requirements Base Bid - New Work Specs 1. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment needed for the performance of this service. 2. The Contractor is to ensure the new lighting meets or exceeds Federal Communication Commission (FCC) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Regulation 47 CFR part 17 3. Contractor must remove and dispose of the old lighting components (Controller and 3 LED Lights). 4. Contractor must supply 7ea LED lights, 3 LEDS Lights shall be installed on the Tower the other 4 are required as spares. a. Qty 7 ea. Lights l 865-IR (White) b. Controller CIP3000TRW (Latest Version for the LED Lights 5. The Current Wiring is intact and should be reused. 6. The Contractor must install the new controller for the Tower Lights 7. Contractor must test all lights to ensure proper operation in accordance with FAA rules and regulations. Page of 36C25722Q0944 8. The Contractor is required to provide a written report of the testing of the New Lights and controller. 9. Trained / Qualified personal that meet the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and North American Technician Excellence (NATE) requirements (Certified to climb towers of this height) must perform the work. 10.All Equipment must be in proper working condition to include Certification / Testing as required by manufacture and OSHA.
